Method 1 - DIN 53923, with the sample @ 66% of the lift per DIN 53924.
Method 2 - Flat, with a stable meniscus around the sample.

Roll Lengths:  50 metres.

Roll Widths:   Type 2 and 5 up to 1.8 metre. Type 3 up to 3 metre.

Micro-perforated Polythene.

  • keeps mats clean.
  • "hot needled" holes are reinforced, stronger, and more difficult to block.
  • not too many holes, or too few.
  • standard widths 1.20, 1.35, 1.50, 1.80, 1.85, 2.00 metres.

Woven Polypropylene.

  • Black with gridlines, water permeability 9l/M2/sec. (DIN); strength (N/50) 875/875;
    special 'anti-clogging' weave; outstanding UV stability.

EVA Membrane.

  • designed for a long, reliable life.
  • much more elastic than polyethylene.
  • proven life of 20 years outside in U.K. conditions, and 9 years in North Africa.
  • thousands of square metres installed under capillary beds outside.
  • not the cheapest, but arguably better value.

Heavy Polythene

  • 200 micron thick, black and formulated for UV-resistance.
  • limited width and lengths from stock.
